Introduction

Welcome to my little corner of the dog-loving universe! I’m Amber, the proud human behind Wild Paws LDN, where I genuinely believe that every pup deserves to strut their stuff in style and comfort. As a passionate dog parent, I know that our furry friends are more than just pets; they’re our babies. That’s why I’m dedicated to bringing you high-quality harnesses, collars, and accessories that blend functionality with fun! When I’m not busy designing fabulous products, you’ll find me on the sofa snuggled up with our gorgeous CEO, Ollie, reading a good book (me reading the book, not Ollie). My Story

Once upon a time... just kidding! Let’s rewind a bit. Back in school, the only class that truly sparked joy for me was Child Care. I thought I’d found my calling, but as life sometimes does, it nudged me in a different direction once I left school. Before I knew it, I was knee-deep in retail at the local shopping center.

I dipped my toes into a few Christmas temp jobs—none of which were really my cup of tea—until I hit my stride at a plus-size clothing store. I adored that job! Interacting with customers and building relationships with regulars lit me up. During my six-years there, I discovered my passion for merchandising and window design. Unfortunately, the work environment was as bright as a black hole, and in 2020, I found myself on an unexpected journey: redundancy.

At the time, having just moved into our first home, the job loss was daunting. But hey, I like a challenge! So, I took a leap and launched The Scent Bar Co., a sweet little venture where I crafted and sold wax melts. While I enjoyed the process, the market proved tough to navigate, and ultimately, I closed up shop after a year.

Then came Ollie—our adorable dachshund—and with him, a whole new world! If you’re familiar with dog Instagram, you know what I mean by the “pupdrobe” phenomenon. I found myself diving headfirst into a delightful sea of harnesses, collars, jumpers, and bows (to name a few!). As someone who loves supporting small businesses, I noticed a lack of the styles I craved. With a creative background urging me on, I realized I could fill that gap. So, as of June 2024, Wild Paws' journey began.

Ollie has been my ray of sunshine through it all, and starting a business inspired by him feels like a dream come true. I truly believe everything happens for a reason, and my winding career path has led me here to Wild Paws. I couldn’t be more grateful for this adventure, and I can’t wait to see where it leads next!
